2.1 Decide where you want to install ShareSpring on your site
Determine the best location for installing ShareSpring on your website so that it will be easily seen and used by your customers and fans. ShareSpring has a flexible design and can fit any container that you place it into, such as:
- On your home page
- On your product page
- On your Facebook page
- As a sidebar on any page
- As a film strip on the bottom of the page (when the user clicks on the picture it will open full size)
2.2 Installing ShareSpring
Copy the ShareSpring snippet of code from the Settings page of the Springboard and paste it into the HTML code of your website. ShareSpring will fill its container, so place it wherever you want ShareSpring to appear.
2.3 Logging into ShareSpring
Visit sharespring.com/login to log in to your ShareSpring dashboard with your email address and password and start creating your Springboard.
Note:
If you decide to rename your Springboard at any time, then anywhere you have the Springboard embedded/installed on your site (or linked), you will need to change the new snippet of code to reflect the new Springboard name. Therefore, it’s recommended to never change the name of the Springboard.
2.4 Testing ShareSpring
Create a Springboard using the instructions in this manual and test it before going live. There is a link to view your test site prior to publishing it live.
2.5 Logging out of ShareSpring
